If every girl has her signature beauty look, mine definitely includes a swipe of eyeliner. I get a lot of questions about which liners I love most, and I use mostly. So I figured I’d share some my essentials with you guys today. It’s taken me years of trial and error to find them, but I can officially declare my all-time favorite eyeliners.
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner In Black Ink $25 -This is my holy favorite, mostly used gel liner. The eyeliner itself glides on smoothly and precisely, then quickly dries down to a long-wearing, water-resistant finish. Gel Liners are always great for building up to that perfect line, and is incredibly forgiving if you make a mistake too. It’s best paired with the Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush so I definitely recommend using the two together. It’s a keeper for sure. But for those who wanna use alternate brush I recommend using a pointed or angled brush my favorites are from Sephora collection pointed eye liner precision brush #92 and angled liner brush #90.
Make up forever Ink liner $23 -A calligraphy-tip, jet-black matte liquid eyeliner. This matte, liquid eyeliner defines eyes in an intensely jet black shade, and its easy-to-use calligraphy tip provides extra precision and pro flexibility that lets you design your favorite linen from thin to thicker line and the quick-dry, long-lasting formula leaves an intense, matte finish. I try to use it after when I am done with my lashes and makeup for that last touch up to my eyeliner.
Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in 77 $14 – The Inglot AMC eyeliner in number 77 is matte black eyeliner, with the most intense pigmentation. This liner creates a seriously blacker than black line opaque line, that stays put all day. I have worn it from one end of the day to the other and it is still perfectly in place by the time I go to take my makeup off. Not only does it stay put on the lid, but also it doesn’t move from the waterline. I mean not one bit. To me this is actually the most amazing thing ever, because most of the time when liner is applied to the water line it disappears very quickly. Another bonus is, it is absolutely smudge proof. I normally pair with makeup forever 250 extra fine eyeliner brush. This short, firm brush allows for controlled and dense application along the lash line. It can be used with cream or liquid formulas to create classic eyeliner look.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner $19 – This liquid eyeliner pen has a innovative brush tip for effortless, precise application. This Tattoo Liner pen is great for the precise and long lasting cat eye. The pen is flexible and you can build your line to be as thick or thin as you want! I like this because it gives me a strong cat eye and I’m in control 100% of the time because of the easy control I get from it. Absolutely love this for a very strong and intense look!
Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll Eyeliner $34- This black eyeliner has a firm yet flexible precision brush that draws a bold, even and long-lasting line from very precise thin – thick line. Its easy to travel with.
Benefit Cosmetics they’re Real Push up Liner $24 – Benefit they’re Real! Push-Up Liner is foolproof and budge-proof gel eyeliner in a pen that’s long lasting. This eyeliner’s soft tip is angled to draw an easy line. Its flat, wide guard gently pushes lashes aside to get close to lash line. I love that because it’s the benefit of gel liner made super convenient. When applied, it’s super creamy and easy to mold into the perfect liner.
When choosing a liner I look for a brand that stays all day, doesn’t smudge and has an applicator that is easy to use. Since we all have different preferences and skin types, the best way to find your favorite liner is to try a few out at the beauty counter (on the back of your hand) the next time you go shopping. This will allow you to see how the liner holds up. You can also ask for a trial size (some brands have them) to take home and try, so you can see how much you like it in action.
