NEW YORK CITY: A CONCRETE JUNGLE !
Hi guys, Hope everyone is doing well. This weekend was complete whirlwind for us. Work and a quick visit to New York. New York City, a concrete jungle where dreams are made, the city that never sleeps, the Big Apple. I was Quite Excited to be back to this city again after few years. It’s a city I could never get tired of. There is so much to see and do it’s perfect for as a city break destination. I have been to New York so many times and it always amazes me by it rapid changes, peoples…
This time we decided to visit new one world trade center observatory. I have visited financial district so many times, it was under construction from long time and always tempted to see inside. Finally after a long wait we got to see the amazing spectacular view of Manhattan and surrounding from the top of the tower observatory. It was simply breathtaking and the experience itself is one in a million!! If you plan to visit New York you should definitely keep this is your bucket list. As we had short time we did a quick tour to the one world museum and Brooklyn Bridge.
What Can I say about Brooklyn Bridge, its one my favorite place to visit. Especially the night view right under the bridge is breathtaking. We waited hours to see the beautiful night view skyline of Manhattan from queens’ pier. One thing I noticed this time was Brooklyn have been really happening and hip these days, they have varieties of food, bar, desert option. Its really cool and romantic place to hang out for sure. Then for dinner we decided to go to queens, which have lots of Indian, Nepali South Asian population and where we can find Nepali Indian food. So we ended to Nepali thakali cuisine. The food there was delightful and reminded me of home. So after all the yummy food we planned to end our day strolling around Times Square. Times Square it’s always crowded all we all know what time you end up going there. Stay tuned for more New York travel diary. Hope you guys like it.
XOXO
