Hello my frens !! Happy Holidays!!! As we all know it’s the most wonderful time of the year where we are in jolly & happy mood .I just cant stop “Ooohing and Aaahing” looking around all the décor outside for Christmas. So we picked this warm sunny wonderful weekend to pick our tree. Its always so much of fun picking your own tree. Though I am not a Christian but still I like to mingle myself in this wonderful festival. I had my first real tree last year and I was so happy that I decided to get this year too. We went to greenwood farms to get our lovely balsam tree Aside from trees, they also sell huge bunches of foliage and holly which I was super happy about as I want to decorate our mantelpiece and… well. Just about every shelf in the flat to make it feel extra Christmassy. We also grabbed some mistletoe (cute!). After watching Alfie pull out nearly every tree to check that he had found ‘the perfect one’, we finally headed home – with trees attached to our car roof! It was literally the most perfect start to December. The tree is up and decorated but you will have to wait for my post next week to see the finished product!

As its officially winter means I get to wear my chunky knits and sweaters that have been hiding in the back of my closet! Chunky knits are always on trend, but every season they get revamped a little differently! This season is all about the more oversized boxy knits.  There’s nothing cozier than a giant sweater and I love how versatile they are! I think this knit is great because you can wear it with so many outfits. My favorite way to wear it would be with a pair of jeans or with a cute skirt! You can really get so much out of a chunky knit, especially in a neutral color this grey knit. Of course, you have to be careful when you wear oversized knits. Sometimes they can overwhelm your body and make you look shorter. If you need to, belt it! It cinches in your waist and gives you a more waist. I threw it over red bold lips for a festive holiday vibe. Lately, this has been my go-to combination, an oversized knit.
